does anyone the correct set up/settings for Vodafone iPv6 using a Fritzbox 7490.

Just for your info and to help others.

 

Vodafone doesn't do dedicated iPv6, it uses a process called "Teredo" and they select which sites you can get iPv6 on.  Even "Geekzone" is not one.

 

I found this out by using the Ultra Hub and checking a few iPv6 testing sites.

We do IPv6, see our official statement.

 

What you may be seeing, assuming you're on a Windows PC, is the Microsoft Teredo dooflicky. Here's GZ from an IPv6 connection:

Yes, sorry I was wrong after further testing and a phone call to a Ninja.  I have been with Vodafone for a week, after changing provider, he checked every thing and couldn't see any thing, but still no iPv6 on the Ultra Hub, rebooted twice etc. He said either it will just start working or Enable hadn't done something yet and again it will just start working.

 

Its a nice to have, but not really a problem this side of Xmas.
