Hi all

Just wondering, did any one have an problem with the Vodafone hub, it keeps on disconnect around midnight or sometimes 11.30pm or 1am and will stop by at least 1 hour or 2 hours...

All the lights on the vodafone hubs are all on green lights. other network stuff is still connected

Run the Windows Diagnosis and it is mentioned that the DNS server isn't responding

i have rang vodafone Ninja this morning she said she will run a 24 hours line test and reply tomorrow...

* i am just wondering, did the latest firmware has affected my line?

thanks for your help on this one

Merry Xmas everyone

Jacky

Is alarm phone circuit isolated from modem circuit via a master splitter filter (typically installed at external termination point)??

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

If you have an alarm that has been hooked up to the phoneline and don't have a master filter installed this will very likely be your issue. Are you sure this didn't happen before? Because if the alarm is hooked up correctly it will always cause this to happen as it's acting as a line grabber and isolating the line from all internal wiring.

we have a dedicated slot purposely for the VDSL...

i have never have any problem like this before and as i said previously there is an alarm existing inside the house, but it doesn't connect anywhere...

thanks

Just because you have an alarm and your not paying for a monitoring service isn't to say it's still connected to a monitoring service.

It could still be an option at this point. Do you have window stickers for any monitoring company?

I don't see any solution to your issue apart from getting somebody in to check your wiring.
