I was needing to restart my TP-Link Archer C7 V2 router at least daily with FibreX, so I thought trying some third party firmware might improve performance. I flashed my router with LEDE Reboot 17.01.4 / LuCI lede-17.01

I am not sure which internet protocol to use with FibreX. On the TP-link firmware I select Dynamic IP and I think this is the same as DHCP with LEDE, but I am getting nothing. I enabled Vlan tagging (ID 10) on the WAN, but still get nothing. Am I using the wrong protocol?

Solved. It is indeed DHCP protocol. Just had to restart the router.
