I've just picked up an EEE PC, and I'd like to know if it's possible to get a Vodem, and, rather than getting another data plan just for that, to tie it to my existing data plan that I use for my Treo, especially given that I don't use more than 25% of that each month, so I don't really want to see it getting wasted.

If it's not possible then oh well. I guess my Eee will have to stay wifi only.

Thanks,

- ipsi

The Vodem will work on the EEE if you are running Windows just like any other laptop.  With Linux you may have trouble getting drivers for the specific distro that comes on it.

Not sure about sharing devices over a single plan, some-one else will have to answer that one sorry!

Bah, oh well. Not too surprising :(

I would, but it's a 680, and you know what that means? GPRS. Yeah, thanks but no. I may do that if/when I get something 3G though :)

Ahhh, bugger.

Supposedly new data options soon - I'm not holding my breath :-)
