All users on VFX and DVX will now have Music on Hold, (NB - This is a trial service and is not part of any offering at present)

This allows your callers when placed on hold to receive Music instead of silence, I think people that use Call hold will like this option.

This is a configurable service and controlled via the Web portal it is on by default.

Feedback and Comments welcome, Music Requests are not (unless you all want Celion Dion and this I will consider Wink)

Not so much a request but, why not do seomthing like vodafone do, i.e you can 'buy' a song and have it play.
or better yet allow the user to choose an .mp3 they own to be played (just place limitations/checking so that they are not trying to play flac down the phone?

I suspect this would be a longer term option, maybe when they officially release it. Note this also mentions video on hold; so I guess it's just the basic testing for the time being.

Noticed today this working on an out of town VFX number and thought, hmmm working for non-Aucklanders now, and here the post is. Can't skite to my country mates now :(
