I had an IP conflict, with my Digital TV EPG modem.

Went through the same hassles trying to contact an Engineer, had to convince them that the EPG modem was conflicting and they sent a tech out to change the static IP's.

So on the off chance you have Digital TV also through Telstra, unplug the EPG modem and see if you still get a conflict.

Obvioulsly if you don't have another modem in the house it my issue/problem won't apply to you.

That makes sense. Unfortunately I only have the one modem, I don't have TV.

Thanks
