So I kept reading about paperless billing - on my vf paper bill, online, in emails. i even went to vodafone.co.nz/onlinebill as instructed, but got the vodafone "page not found". Typical. (it works now).

So I followed instructions in vodafone's unhelpful help section, and it instructed me to log in, and look for paperless billing. nothing whatsoever related to that. anywhere on my login page. or my manage account page.

so i contact vf CS, and they tell me again, login and look for "view bill online", admitting that being told to look for paperless billing is misleading, they said they would pass it on to the web people.

So I follow this second set of instructions. having already searched the My Vodafone page several times I knew I wasn't going to find anything new but i did it anyway. and of course found nothing. I emailed them back with a screenshot of my page.

I got a reply basically saying "that's weird", and sent me a screenshot of THIER screen showing me how it's supposed to look (interesting to see the CS screen). Also saying they will contact IT about it.

Can anyone explain why this would happen? They get one screen, I get another. The options are just NOT THERE for me. I tried it in Firefox in OSX and XP, in Safari too.
Anyone else have this same problem?

It may happen because you are not using IE (unlikely but a possibility)

it could also be a permission problem at their end with your account

Now you mention it, a couple of years ago I had an exchange with someone at Vodafone - they were trying to direct me to a page on the site with contact details for a specific team (using their search option).. to both his and my suprise, when entering the same keyword we both got different result sets.

Perhaps internal Vodafone staff do have a different set of information they can access?
