Xnet Partners with Gameplanet

This will make our gamers happy I'm sure Laughing

Xnet users data will be local traffic and not countered towards your metered data, so not only do we bring you free offpeak first but now we are helping your gaming as well by free data to Gameplanet online games Wink

Boy that almost a sales pitch wasn't it :)

Seriously - I am just kidding in my previous post!!

Free traffic for gaming (to Gameplanet).... now thats just an out and out attempt at adding value for free and providing good customer service.

Who the heck do you think you are?

And here's the point on this: most ISPs have to realise they are in the business of moving content, not providing or creating content.

TelstraClear is doing it wrong by offering their game servers, etc. They should partner with a publisher that knows the business - like Xnet is doing with Gameplanet.

Is recoil stuff still counted as local? I prefer the recoil servers over the gp servers purely due to the numbers.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Yeah Blizzard, it's the main game I play so always worried when changing ISP's as most of my gaming is international :)

Given the rapid growth of console gaming, and online gaming services (including download content), it would be great to see XNet partnering with Microsoft or Sony.

Every week, downloads of over 1GB or more are made available on XBox Live and/or Sony PSN. It would be great for these to be free traffic in addition to normal gaming traffic to/from the XBox Live and PSN servers.
