Just wondering if theres any further progress with number porting from IHUG to Xnet VFX ?
Originally got told that  in March there would be a process in place to allow it, then couple months ago got told that it was on hold due to some issues and Id be contacted when it was sorted.....

I know I can switch to Telecom then to Xnet but thats going to cost me $100 ($45 odd for the one month rental and $50 odd for the connection fee).

Is there a cheaper/faster way to do it ?

TIA

Is there any "official date" when this process will be put in place then ???
I find it ridiculous that you cant move between phone providers without extra cost, time and hassle.

Yes it is a frustrating process XPD, but we are a bit ham strung at present due to Telecom still owning the copper lines but having someones line rental with another provider, there is not a direct process bewteen ourselves and the third party for moving the line without going back to Telecom and for them it's not their customer in either the losing or gaining provider, thats the problem...... they are looking at it is all I can say.
