Is the OnePlus 5 compatible on the Vodafone network. It is only showing H+ instead of 4g

@t0ny 4G band3 1800Mhz yes but I think not on 4G band 28 700Mhz. I am sure this handset only supports part of the 700Mhz that Spark use

Do you get 4G in the same location with SIM in another handset?

My OP5 does connect to Vodafone 4G/4G+ on Band 1 and Band 28.

I think here in Christchurch the majority of the sites are Band 1 but if you drive out of the urban areas Band 28 coverage is pretty solid.

edit:

You can use Network Cell Info app to see which band your mobile is currently using.

I got it sorted. Apparently my account did not have permission to use 4g so was only registering on the 3g network. Didn't even know 4g was optional

Ah i have had that happen as well, think the option is there for when they use to charge you $10 a month for 4g speeds when they first released.

Wow - that sucks. Can't they blanket clear that restriction in their system?

It's not a restriction as such 4G needs to be provisioned
