I keep getting terrible mobile customer support.
I’m half way through my 24mth red+ plan and i have seen that on the website the plan has basically been doubled (now woth 30gb and redshare included) all i want to do is get my plan matched to what is being offered.
Voda are very happy to help 24/7 when it means they get your money, but if you have issues or questions, the make it super difficut! I keep getting fobbed off to different departments and then get hung up on.
PLEASE! Someone contact me and help me out!

Can you no longer log in to your mobile account online and upgrade yourself?

I always thought you were allowed to upgrade but no downgrade without penalty?

You would need to resign to get the additional data, can help you with that if that's what you want.

you are on a contract, which you agreed to pay xyz for ab of data over 24 months. just because they change the plan doesnt mean you should get the extra data. what happens if they increased the cost or lowered the data? should you also have to deal with those changes.

its like if i sign on for a 2 year fixed term mortgage at 5%, should i get a lower rate if the rates drop? should i get a higher rate if it goes up?

its a contract, unless you sign on again then you will likely get nothing extra

You can resign on the new terms without penalty but it will start another contract period.

You agreed to a contract and VF have kept their end of the bargain.  They have done nothing wrong.  If you have found a better deal then by all means re-negotiate, but you will have to accept the ramifications of breaking the existing contract (if any).

@safboy nothing wrong here you signed a contract for 24 months for X and that is what they are providing when your contract term is complete then you can move to Y

I agree while he may not be entitled to anything, it's pretty poor that their customer service team couldn't just tell him that.

I bet they have told the OP that and this is why they are now posting on Geekzone expecting a different answer
