Hi folks,

I asked this in the VF Community but have not heard back. Admittedly it hasn't been very long. Just thought I'd ask here too in case there's something I can do to further troubleshoot this issue.

I am trying to access https://shop.per-olovkindgren.com/ through my home network, which is on VF VDSL. It's just timing out. This happens on all devices at home. If I put my Android phone on mobile data it browses to that address just fine!

I'm sure this is not the only problematic website, or a type of problem restricted to VFNZ broadband. Basic tracert returns:

Tracing route to shop.per-olovkindgren.com [46.30.215.127]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 3 ms 3 ms 7 ms 192.168.1.1
2 22 ms 18 ms 19 ms 118-93-99-254.dsl.dyn.ihug.co.nz [118.93.99.254]
3 34 ms 28 ms 19 ms 10.200.12.25
4 39 ms 32 ms 37 ms UNASSIGNED.core.vf.net.nz [203.109.143.193]
5 * * * Request timed out.
6 * * * Request timed out.
.
.
.
etc. to 30 hops.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
D.

Seeing as it is just 46.30.215.127 that is unreachable while 46.30.215.126 and 46.30.215.128 etc. seem to be reachable it is likely Vodafone that is dropping traffic for this address.

It seems to also be dropped at the border on another ISP using Vodafone transit.

There could be many reasons ISPs choose to restrict access like malware host among others.

Hmm... very curious. How did you diagnose the drop on another ISP that uses VF transit? Can I do that through my VF VDSL connection too?

I can see we're dropping traffic to that IP, have asked the team why.
