Upon checking this morning as I'm in early to beat the Truckie Protest in Auckland, I noticed we have reached the 1000 Topics and 10000 posts in the WorldxChange Xnet / VFX forum....... Wow Cool

So I have to say it's a bit of a milestone with WxC participating in Geekzone and I think on a whole we have learned a lot from each other and generally passed a lot of valuable information. It was interesting going back and reading the very first post from when we were launching VFX and to see how peoples ideas on how and why we were doing things, boy were we in for a beat up Laughing, by participating in that thread and passing the message along the response's now are completely different and goes to show the value of educated discussion and passing the knowledge around, I think now a lot of people have a better understanding of the products and services.

Geekzone users have made some valuable contributions and comments and we appreaciate the effort by most people in the way that they present it, changes  have been made due to constructive feedback placed by members here, Asterisk was added to our VFX product range due to peoples input here (I did take a bit of persuading Tongue out) and now we actually have several hundred Asterisk users on VFX so constructive feedback from Geekzone users does get given a lot of credibility by us.

Also I would say thanks to the mods for making this a place where we can come and contribute to a technicial community without it becoming a Soapbox forum or can I add a helpdesk  Wink

So all in all I say a big thanks to all that have contributed in this forum and I think we have made a valuable contribution to Geekzone and that our level of participation with users here is unmatched and heres to the next 1000 Topics and 10000 posts.

Woot.. must be WxC's shout at the pub :-P

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Congratulations on the milestones.

I have to say that the level of participation by WxC staffers in this public forum formed a large part of my decision to sign up as a Fusion customer.  It's been great to see a company willing to participate in this way and give serious consideration to the opinions of the forum users.

As well, the levels you go to with the willingness to sort out publicly aired problems/grievances sets you apart from other providers.  Long may it continue!

Its great to see you guys here! much like previouse posts, you guys being here on Geekzone did form a big part of my decision to move our broadband from our previouse provider (Snap) - Now that their here, the lines are blurring... Its great to have you guys here and you are a truly fantastic provider. I havnt even really noticed the International speed problem which is great.
