Hey, I have a question for Steam users/xnet staff
I'm looking at http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/ and it says you need steam to get the games, so i'm either hoping that its on local traffic or i'm going to have to find a way to schedule it. However, as far as I can see Steam has no scheduler (i'm on xnet torrent)
Cheers

We host the Recoil Steam server, so yes, it should be local traffic.  The key word there is *should* - we can't guarantee that the content is on the Recoil server, or that your Steam client will choose the Recoil server, but it really should be and it really should do :).

Now... can some nice Xnet staff member let us know what the IP address is for the Xnet steam server ? :)

Remember, not all servers mirror the same files. The recoil server mirrors what steam deam to be 'popular' though.

The IP is 58.28.96.30

Bear in mind it's a Recoil content server, not Xnet - so any support issues with this should be directed to myself.  The server carries about 370GB of content at present, there is ~500GB in total but it takes a very long time to download this much content.

Thanks for the reply, I tried using the program above to limit to the recoil mirror, but obviously the halflife content hasn't been downloaded yet, so I'll leave it for a week or two and see then Tongue out
