Hi,

I've got a problem with my VFX for the last few days... Both my numbers terminate to a trixbox and it's been working fine for a while, I did an update a couple of weeks ago, but wasnt aware of this issue till about 5 days ago, so not sure if it ties into the trxbox update or not, however I've since done yet another update.... I can't find anything in their forums or online that discusesses anything similar.

I'm able to receive calls via my 2 VFX accounts with no issue, however on outbound calls, once answered I get voice for only about 3 seconds before it hangs up with a "NoOp("SIP/1020-095f6d98", "Dial failed due to trunk reporting NOANSWER - giving up")".

I've tried via my 3 iTalk lines and other trunks and I have no issues with any other operators. From what I can tell, I'm missing the following 2 lines returned to me when a call proceeds from VFX:
-- SIP/ITALK-AKLD-096f7090 is making progress passing it to SIP/1020-096c1c90
    -- SIP/ITALK-AKLD-096f7090 answered SIP/1020-096c1c90

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks
Barry Murphy

Yep I see whats wrong, you were not responding to the OK message being sent to you for the 10 calls up untill 14:18, then you must have changed something because after that you now respond correctly and all is working.

What did you change ?

Hey there,

Yeh verry strange... I had to disable security on the SIP ALG on the new juniper firewall. Are you perhaps sending the responses from another IP address? I'll need to look into it with more details but yeh the juniper firewall didn't like it.

thanks
barry

We generally don't like to change IP address in our network elements Wink, nothing changed here & hasn't done for quite some time.
