My links went down 5 minutes ago. NZ web sites are fine. Just lost everything else (US and Europe).

Having issues too. Trying to access gazette.govt.nz (I use Unblock-US DNS servers).
It's ironic that I'm only seeing this problem because I'm sitting at my computer waiting for Vodafone to call me back on a separate issue. Waiting 75 minutes so far.
No fault recorded at https://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/network-status/
The overseas sites are now back.
Could be still down - having fun downloading the latest Java updates.
I'm having no problems now.
Given that Vodafone has automated checking of links and would be aware of such failings, then it would save a lot of time for many of us users to have some info on the network status page. Instead, yet again, we have to go to forums and social media to find out what is happening. Which is what I've told them when the user survey form came up on the network fault page.
was most likely not a Vodafone outage - I had the same problem to mainly OZ servers at the same time and we not using Vodafone - at a guess, something major happen on one of OZ main link / CDN.
Even more reason for Vodafone to let users know that there is an upstream issue that will affect their users.
Does anyone know if there is a website in NZ with up-to-date info from monitoring the status of the main CDNs and international links?
