We've been in our new house for over 18 months now - we are still getting postal mail for one of the previous occupants.  Note that previous occupants declined to offer a forwarding address.

I've diligently been writing on the letters "Return to sender, not at this address", etc.

I've tried calling the 0800 number, only to be met with much confusion, and still the letters come.

The 0800 number suggested I take the letters into the Vodafone store - which I've done ... and the second time around they suggested there is nothing they can do.

So, in desperation, what do I need to to get these letters to stop coming to us (and hopefully get to the correct place)?

Is there a vodafoner lurking here that could perhaps help, please?

Thanks!

Can you locate the person via facebook or on your local electoral rolls?

We still get mail for previous owners of our house, and they've been gone 7 years (and not even in the country) - companies just ignore the whole "RTS/Not here" on the returned mail.

We also get (what I assume) traffic fines etc for someone who has never been at the address, yet they keep coming.

We just bin a lot of it now as noone seems to care.

I'm still getting mail from AMP for previous owner. We've owned the house for 20 years.

Apologies for the late update!  I got the letter to Ahmed and he has found the issue and resolved it, so I won't receive the letters for the previous tenant, and as an added bonus an issue was resolved for the previous tenant.

Thank you @AhmedVF for helping get this resolved!
