OK, so V/fone have killed off hosting etc services on Feb 28th.

Yet have sent a friend a bill for their hosting for the period of 1st - 31st March 2019  :D

So, on top of posting here I guess your friend has contact Vodafone to correct this?

Told them to.

I'm guessing Vodafone forgot to remove the billing item after the 28th from the system for everyone :)

Did they move them somewhere else or do they not want them anymore?

Just noticed the FAQ page has been updated:

All Vodafone domain, web and email hosting services are no longer supported, as these services are closing:

  • Domain Name Registration
  • Email Hosting
  • Web Hosting
  • Domain Name Hosting (DNS Hosting)

If you still have these services with us, we strongly recommend moving your services to a new provider now, otherwise you will lose your domain, website or email.

If services are not moved by 30 April 2019, they will be closed and we will not be able to restore them. We have a dedicated team available until the end of April to help affected customers.

Last point on their FAQ's says you have to fill a form out if you want to cancel them....

Sounds like they've reduced costs while maintaining revenue ahead of their IPO

Nice of them to change the time frame with no notification. Oh well.
