Currently been on hold for over 1 hour 17 mins and counting to follow up on a missed call from tech to install VDSL, not sure who’s worse Vodafone or Chorus!

I usually give up after 10 mins and email/submit a ticket online about the issue. If they cant be bothered answering your call for an installation, will they be there if you have a fault?

To answer the thread title, Quite literally Yes.

Vodafone are in the middle of moving a very large number of roles off-shore to Tech Mahindra in India with the first wave (those who accepted voluntary redundancy) leaving yesterday and the announcement of the second wave (first batch of forced redundancy) occurring around the same time.

I’m wondering if the tech did call me, if I didn’t get the call as at my house the Vodafone coverage is flakey as hell.

That’s why I started another thread asking about Sure Signal, poor really they expect you to pay for that when it’s there signal that is crap, not like I live in the wops.

It just makes me feel all warm inside to point it out 😈, Especially after working there a few years ago and seeing the screens around the office showing wait times of upto 4h quite regularly.

Yes you should pay for the Sure Signal unit as coverage is best effort and many things can impact mobile coverage well out of any carriers control

Must have ended up back in queue again, someone else answered, had to give account details and explain issue again :(. Supposedly provisioning dept is now closed so they are sending a provisioning template to them, what ever that entails!
