@jasonparis

This is fricken nuts, I re-signed my plan yesterday for a further 12 months and asked that everything on the plan remain the same.

I've been on the $99 red share plan, and re-signed to the same plan for a further 12 months.

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that my Vodafone music pass has been changed to a Vodafone chat pass. I tried phoning yesterday and gave up after 45 minutes on hold and being transferred from the customer service team to the sales team.

Today I've just been transferred 3 times, twice without any prior warning of the call being transferred or reason given for the transfer of the call. Upon being transferred to a 3rd individual who again asked me to verify my name, mobile number and pin, I've quite simply given up!

For a communications company, you are quite simply appalling at communication!

All I'm wanting is to get back the Vodafone music pass I had until yesterday (a pass is included with my plan), and remove the chat pass from the account, This cannot be done via the app as I have already tried.

Can someone please help me as this is extremely time consuming and frustrating, and shouldn't be for such a simple request.

Can it be changed logging into the main Vodafone NZ site?

No, unfortunately. Have tried that, but it says for Vodafone passes to use the app, which also doesn’t allow me the option to switch the pass back to the music pass.

I’d love to be able to do it myself as communicating with Vodafone is such a painstaking process.

Thanks, have tried the live chat and directed back to a phone number. Nothing like going around in circles.

Welcome to the Vodafone trainwreck....you have my sympathy.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Thanks. My next call to them will be to remove my 4 mobiles to another provider! I can’t believe how abysmal their customer service has become.

I honestly get the feeling that we are witnessing a historic moment and the failure of a large NZ Telco.

I can’t believe how they could get the basics so wrong.

@gmball yeah... @JasonParis will come and save the day.

I lost my free "social chat" after some weird issue with my sharer. I tried to call a few times and asking for help via live chat etc - I figure - much easier if I just pay the $5 extra to get what I want.
