Ran into an issue where I attempt to redeem my 1-year Netflix subscription on an existing Netflix account.
Everything progresses as normal but at the last stage the "Apply gift now" button errors and says "no offer available".


I contacted vodafone who suggested cancelling my membership (so my automatic billing stops) and then retrying, but the error persists.

 

Have tried both on phone and PC.

Any suggestions how to progress from here?

Friend who got it from Spark had to cancel the sub, wait for remaining time to expire and then add the promotion to the existing account. Something to do with Netflix sub then being paid alongside your provider bill(friend now has netflix on the spark bill every month)

I'm looking to do this, so a bit weary to read this sort of experience.

Do you need the TV box to make the Netflix offer work?  (Not interested in another set top box)

I had a similar issue with my account - turns out it was because I had a US account as opposed to a New Zealand billing account.  This may be the same issue?

NF are favouring bundling rather than vouchers.... i wonder if the vouchers have been pulled?

Just got off the phone with Vodafone sales and apparently the Netflix bundle is only available with mobile plan deals now.

 

(I wonder what the ratio of Netflix mobile to TV viewing is 🤔)

So, no go when just renewing home broadband only.
