Hi

Got Vodafone Suresignal device, am having issue where intermittently the callers voice will just become all garbled and distorted, no idea if they can hear me at the other end, have to just hang up.

Any ideas, have restarted the Suresignal device, but still occurring.

Cheers

Do you have a cordless phone near the Sure Signal unit?

Which VDSL modem?

Intermittently the callers voice will just become all garbled and distorted

My cellphone is with vodafone and thats just normal. The garbled voice (sounds like a record played backwards) in my investigation doesnt seem to be a roaming issue, can happen any time/location and on different samsung phones i've had over the years.

I just hang up and call back though sometimes after a moment the voice will return to normal, usually not.

Hey, no, we dont have a landline.

I thought it might be a distance thing from the Sure Signal device, when close to it the issue does not seem to occur, when downstairs it happens, however the VFNZ Sure Signal has 4 bars there.

Interference from something I guess might be the most likely thing.

Strange, only seems to happen to me when I am down stairs a bit of a distance form the Sure signal device, call is fine for about 10 seconds maybe longer then goes garbled, hang up ring back, same thing, over and over.  Just have to go up stairs and be closer to the Sure signal device and then it seems ok.
