It appears that my Vodafone static IP address on FibreX has changed. Anyone else noticed a change, or just me?

I haven't used my static IP since before the school holidays (I typically use it only for remote VPN access), and so it could conceivably have changed without me noticing any time in about the last month. I've also noticed an IPv6 flag pop up on some sites in the last wee while (geekzone included), so might have something to do with that.

It won't change. If it has its dynamic, a provisioning issue or maybe a network glitch. Easily fixed I expect, I suggest to contact them. Statics dont occasionally fail

So far as I know, FibreX "static" IPs are just reserved DHCP allocations. It was solid for 2 years, then changed sometime recently. If it's changed as a one-off, I don't really care as I can update a few records easy enough. If it keeps changing, it will be a pain.

Decided I'd save myself the pain of trying to contact VF about another issue and ask here first (I have a couple I'm already waiting for them to fix / phone me back about and don't want to muddy any further waters). Appreciate that is how to get an official answer though.

Yep, seems to be. It was a surprise to me when I saw it though, they didn't seem to make any announcement.
