how does one change email address. My mobile bill comes to my outlook email but my broadband to ihug.  It is correct in MyVodafone. I rang around a year ago and they said its changed but bills and news still went to ihug.  I rang 2 weeks ago got through straight away to some hard to understand foreign woman who assured me she has changed it.  Today I receive email from Vodafone about change of owners. Yep went to ihug email not outlook.  As they are closing down their forwarding in August I wanted it changed but seems its not possible. Maybe it is time to change to Spark

First work out if Type A, B or C (look at bottom of bill)

If type c you use Customer Zone not My Vodafone. If you are a long term or ex TelstraClear customer you are likely Type C

So why can't Vodafone email to all who are still have their billing sent to a soon to expire email address such as .ihug.co.nz or vodafone.co.nz. A link to easily change the billed/account email address. Just like they did when they changed to forwarding email?

Wouldn't it make sense to get on with that BEFORE they cut email completely

You're talking about Vodafone here. That kind of proactivity and common sense isn't the norm with them.

Yep, VF more worried about their marketing campaigns rather than focussing on the fundamentals.

Have repeated 3 times (with a 30 min delay in between) and am now well over this 🤬

Seriously, the product is great (had no real major issues with my internet for a few years now) but the service is diabolical.

It's that trade off that it's great whilst it works, but heaven help anyone who needs to contact them directly!

@JasonParis if you can assist with this in any way, it would be much appreciated.

Have resigned for another year, and the part payment information email looks decidedly spammy.
Want to log in to confirm what I should be paying for this transition month, but can't get past the front door.

Can’t even get that far with my Dad’s account, I rang Vodafone to get the account transferred to his name after Mum passed away, they never called back. And the bills are still going to the old ihug address. No idea if she had a login to anywhere.

So looking closer, when I renewed our Vodafone broadband for another 12 months it appears we got a new customer number?!

So our recent payments (still setup in internet banking with the old customer number) will not have been linked with this new customer number account.

It’s also explains why out old customer user name isn’t working with the new account. But there’s little info on how to set this all up again, or what our new customer name is.

I’m sorry but these systems are just on another planet frustrating. 🤦‍♂️ 🤬

I believe voda are migrating people to new packages that are based on voda's historic core, and are abandoning the billing system structures from ihug, tcl, wxc and so on. That will mean a new cust name etc.

Even so, the communications should be better than this...!
