In typical Vodafone fashion, my latest Vodafone invoice includes a message about daily roaming increasing to $7 per day, however the link Vodafone.co.nz/drc doesn’t work, and neither the call centre or online chat know anything about any proposed increase.

Anyone know any info they can share as I’d be keen to know if it is infact increasing.

Also mentions additional countries being added, so that would be of interest too.

That would be extremely frustrating/disappointing.

Perhaps GST, but if only GST then I’d guess the new rate to be more like $6.

Don’t so much mind a increase, just frustrating when your sent information with a link that doesn’t work, and staff who no nothing of a increase.

It’s a real shame that even the very basics seem to have gone out the window now.

Think it's more how it sounds quite different 40% vs 2$

If they're going to increase the fees it would be nice if they actually made changes to their roaming such as not double dipping and charging the daily fee multiple times for shared data allowances.

We know the $5/$7 is really just an arbitary fee and they don't actually pay this to anybody - so it's frustrating when you have shared allowance in NZ such as a SIM in a tablet and have to pay that fee for both devices.

It's not about how it makes you feel, it's about how many clicks they can get :)

It won't make you any better off financially no matter how it's reported, it's still a 40% increase or $2 a day :)

Yes. Planning to add on another 15% when GST is applied.

It certainly doesn't seem so, given you stick the boot in every chance you get. Even after the CEO personally responded and asked for time to get their house in order and explained some of what was happening.

We get it already, you aren't happy.

I wouldn’t consider their CSR’s and online chat, plus links sent on customer invoices as getting a house in order, they are the absolute basics, more a customer expectation vs a house keeping exercise.

You’ll note my original post was actually asking for info given Vodafone’s inability to provide it, but love the fact you’ve decided to post a reply without actually contributing anything
