I'm trying to transfer a Vodafone SIM to a Nokia 5, but data does not seem to be working when I do. The phone and data works with other SIMs (2 degrees) and the SIM works in other phones. I had a poke around in the network settings --> access points and tried to make everything match but I must be missing something.

Any bright ideas?

This must be a missing APN for sure - the phones come from Spark and don't automatically set the Vodafone APN so you have to manually enter them.

Mobile data:

Name: VFNZ Internet
APN: vodafone
APN type: default,supl,dun

MMS:

Name: VFNZ Gateway
APN: live.vodafone.com
MMSC: http://pxt.vodafone.net.nz/pxtsend
MMS proxy: 172.30.38.3
MMS port: 8080

Ta, that did the trick! Bizarrely, my current phone doesn't have half those settings and internet works fine. Go figure.

It has to have those settings or the Internet and MMS / PXT would not work
