Yeah yahoo is correct...

What ISP's you guys on ? On TC here.......

Was trying to figure out what was going on before my phone goes nuts (lots of users here use xtra.co.nz as their start page)

Yes, this should be redirected to the Yahoo! New Zealand site (what a brand devaluation for Xtra).

But I am on TCL, as you rscole, and I don't know why it's behaving like this...

What happens if you ping www.xtra.co.nz or tracert www.xtra.co.nz?

(No problems with the redirect on Orcon here.)

Xtra and Eventfinder arent even on the same network... Xtra vs Iserve.

Weird... my workmate here is able to get to the Xtra yahoo page via xtra.co.nz but I along with others cant. Only difference is that he is on Vista and Im on XP.

Interesting. It must be something on TelstraClear network. If you visit http://www.rexswain.com/httpview.html and request www.xtra.co.nz you will see it does a lot of redirects (not good) but ends up loading the correct page.
