Hi - I've been using Xnet VFX since June this year - and am more than happy with the quality etc of the service.

I'm on TelstraClear Naked Cable - and ported my old phone number with them across to VFX.

Issue is - I've just found out today (via a friend trying to find our phone number) that we our now missing from the new printed whitepages and also the online whitepages!

What's the story with this? I thought that anyone that had a phone service (albeit VoIP or POTS) was automatically elligible to have a directories listing!

Is this true - perhaps it is a paper-work issue on Xnets side of things!

HELP!! Can somebody please tell me what the situation is?

How do I get listed in directories?

Ring telecom and they will immediately list you

Err; ring your service provider, or the Yellow Pages Group. DO NOT ring Telecom NZ.

ring white pages  0800 803 803 ask for white pages your number is shown as non published.  ask them to have it published

I had the same problem when I've switched to Fusion, not listed any more even though I've filled in that I want to be and what the listing must say.  After more than 6 months, have not yet bothered sorting it out.  When WxC reads this, please check your processes that you do keep people listed when requested on the application form.

working on it now actually as there cahnges due to whitepages changing how they do business, a few changes coming for both this and emergency information, watch this space.
