Is anyone willing or able to guide me in the right direction pl.

I have a Vodafone Sure Signal V3 which I just can’t get going. 😒

Have connected the SS as per instruction booklet.

The red power light stays solid while the white interne light pulses.

My internet provider is Spark, which I have read does work with the SS

while my modem is a HG659d.

Where can I start my troubleshooting? Any help or suggestions will be welcomed.

The IP address your internet connection is allocated might not be on  the VodafoneNZ Sure Signal cluster white list and this will stop the Sure Signal unit from doing a registration

I can potentially help you.

The white flashing light tends to indicate the unit is doing an NTP synch. If you haven't had the unit on too long this is normal.

If the unit has lost its software the unit must first grab its base software before downloading its hardware config. The final step is an NTP sych then the unit should unlock

I'll PM you - as I need some information specific to your device to see whats happening.

Cheers

Mark.

That NTP sync time is pretty killer if it's been off for a little while.

wasnt till i messed with my one, that i actually noticed how much ntp traffic it fires off.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

I have this unit on with these light (solid red, flashing white) for almost a week now.

Done the obvious of resetting the modem and SS multiple times with no luck.

Replied to Mark’s PM.

Ok - a week is another thing entirely :)
I’ll take a look tomorrow when I get to the office
