Hi all,

Thinking of getting a VFX Linksys AG310. (1 FXO / 1 FXS)

I already have a GSM trunk unit, with FXS port. (I can plug a phone into it and get dialtone, and ring the sim and the POTS phone rings)

Can I plug the GSM trunk unit into the FXO port on the AG310 and then dial the GSM sim, get dialtone from the AG310, and dial out from then AG310 on SIP.

Cheers
Mac

The answer is yes.

it works well and the CTU even passed caller id to the ag310, so I can just dial my best mate from my cellphone and I get vfx dialtone directly, from any other phone I have to enter a pin number. well done linksys.
