Getting fibre to our property is too complicated at the moment so I'm looking at VF wireless broadband. What modem is supplied? Will it be upgraded to a 5G model when 5G is available? From the service maps my address looks to be about 3 houses outside the coverage area but it may be feasible as we have an upstairs.

I know from experience that VF is a minefield to deal with so I thought best to start asking here.

Thanks,Stephen

What would be the complication with a fibre install? Build? Consents?

Umm, the B315? So is the faster B525 only for RBI connections?

i too would have thought it would be on their B525 stock by now..

Most of our B315 stock did go though... good riddins. they aren't nearly as efficient on the network.

Is there a choice of modem? If I bought my own what would you recommend?

Re: Fibre install. I have had poor experience dealing with Chorus and can't understand why the ISP doesn't have someone to manage the process. I can't be bothered with dealing with any complications at the moment so I thought get the wireless link working while I review the fibre options.

Thanks for the advice so far.
