I'm going to use the $1/day data plan on my unlocked first gen iphone, currently running 2.1

I note when I look at the network APN on the phone, it www.iphone-vodafone.net.nz

Should I change this to one of the standard VF APN's?

Given it's an unlocked 2.5g phone, I doubt the customer service people at VF will give me an answer..

Cheers

Why not use the "optimised" APN and try to squeeze a few more bytes into your 10MB/day allowance? opt.vodafone.net.nz should still be working...
