hi people

does your phone line have anything to do with your internet connection speed?? or ping times?

coz my friend seems to be getting 20 ping lower den me on games xD and i hate it i want to own him!!!

I would be guessing that your friend has interleaving turned off. If you are with Xnet then give them a call and ask them to turn interleaving off. Only do this if you arent in a rural area or are ages away from an exchange though.

Your line doesn't look that good. Post back your router stats - downstream / upstream, noise margins, line attenuation. Switching off interleave may not be for you :(

What model of router do you have? You usually log in to your router by typing either of these address into your web browser: http://192.168.1.1  or  http://10.1.1.1 then a user name + password, usually admin / admin.
Look for an ADSL status page.
The speed test above needs to be compared with you router stats to have any real meaning.

Ok... so did ya find the ADSL stats?
Look through all the status pages, + anything ADSL related and see what you can find.
