Ok, so this may be a stupid question... but does Vodafone offer an on account plans without having to sign on for at least 12 months?
I'd like to be able to have an bill I can just pay at the end of the month and be able to check my calling and txting history but I dont think I'll be here in NZ for 12 more months.. I dont want any phone subsidy or any of that nonsense..

Depending on how far into the 12 month term you get the disconnection fees are rather minor - just sign up on Choose 20 to start with then step it up if need be.

yea, motormouth is prob your best option for a no term contract...offer's pretty good calling rates (no txt bundles though, so ya paying .20c per txt) and has no term. if your looking for the more all round package, scottjpalmer is right. a yc20 plan allows you access to a few additional bundles...they even have a plan atm called Starter 600 or Starter 2000 which for $29.95 you get 30 national anytime mins, 1 free bestmate and either txt 600 or txt 2000. this is on a 12month contract...but the disconnection fee's are $40+gst within first 3 months, $30+gst for next 3mnths, and $15+gst for final 6months...but the savings you would make from the free bm and txt600/txt2000 cancel that out :P

valid points, I didn't really consider just paying the disconnection fee. I always thought it was horrendously expensive. Much appreciated guys.
