So this might be a me thing only again...

 

But looks like there has been some form of update pushed?

 

Mobile in the CBD of chc now has VoLTE indicator on the top bar, and 'home' on my browser suddenly fires off to vodafone.co.nz

 

Guessing there has been some form of OTA carrier update in the background. Or a switched flicked in the CBD. Both on a Huawei and Samsung Xcover in the office.

As mentioned in the Huawei P30 Pro thread, someone noticed this earlier on - I didn't see it then but it is now switched on for me as well - in Johnsonville.

Didn't consider reading the p30 thread being a 20 user :)

Mine dropped on and off when first noticed. And traveling between zones.
Guess there's some sort of nationwide changes in progress

My device is still .161, april security. And no updates.

Tends to tell me it's network vs device. Especially with a different samsung sparking up too

Highly likely they have just pushed VoLTE out to another part of their core.

Early yesterday my Huawei P30 Pro showed VoLTE... It disappeared before lunchtime. 

 

It came back around 6pm (when I noticed) and stayed on until 1am (when I went to bed).

 

This morning it was gone again.
