ok so today i called telecom and signed up for total home and pro broadband but they taold me as i was on naked dsl i couldnt keep my number so i convinced them that if i disconnected xnet from my lines they will let me keep my number and use the phone jacks i got allready
i called xnet and told them to cancel my lines on monday and the telecom tech is coming on tuesday and i will have a temp number till my old number is free and telecom are doing a free number change  for me
so hopefully on tuesday i will be all set up and ready to go and i get a free static ip on the pro plan witch is a big bonus to me
hopefully xnet doesnt screw it up some how i remeber the chaos we had setting up fusion

thank you

I signed up for Orcon@Home late yesterday.   No mention of any number porting issues from fusion, nor should there be...

They've told me my target date is Wednesday.

Good luck with your move, lets hope there aren't any issues.

I'll put it down to that as well - I moved from XNet NDSL to telecom, and had no problems (other than a 2 week wait) getting my number ported.

Just because its quicker than following the un-link urls, i've posted the above speedtests.
Its simple to so.. just click on the little tree icon when your making a post. Tree icon is in the tool bar.
