Hey GZ Family,

Had an issue crop up yesterday which results in my question... Is anyone from VF able to confirm if its possible to recover a particular prepay number that has been deactivated (4-6 months ago) I assume due to no regular payments.

The person concerned would not mind via what method its made available to her if at all possible.

4-6 months ago? I highly doubt it.

From memory numbers go into quarantine for about 90 days, then they get released into the pool again - but @Linux would be able to confirm though.

You could try ringing it to see if it has been reissued.

If it doesn't ring, you may have a chance?

Sorry I was under the impression that it has not been reissued, but will check that out myself soon.

Hi there,

Just wanting to confirm, was the number deactivated as it hadn't been topped up in 360/365 days?

For information on when numbers are recycled, check out http://help.vodafone.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/4987/~/when-does-prepay-credit-expire

Thanks
Michael
