I know you can't divert prepays to other numbers for billing reasons, but I always thought it was possible to divert all calls to voicemail.

I have an 027 number that I don't really use but didn't want to loose so I ported from Telecom to Vodafone Prepay. I want to divert all calls to Voicemail where I have a message advising all callers to call my 021 number, but still want to get any texts.

Is/Should it be possible for me to set my prepay phone to divert all calls to voicemail?

you should be able to set the number of rings on your phone before it gets to voicemail?

Doesn't let me do that either. If I check the 'Status' it tells me it is set to 20 seconds, but if I try and change it just says 'Request Not Completed'

You can change Voicemail number of ring settings on On Account accounts only.

Dont really know if this works but does your phone have a security setting to prevent incoming calls. That might send all calls to voicemail and hopefully allow texts to come through.

The phone has the option but it seems to be a network feature and the network rejects it in the same way it rejects my divert to VM.
