Its not that often, but it always comes at the worst of times. Over the past 3-4 months we occasionally loose the PPP server, usually the gateway dies, and then following by the PPP login server, however this time the default gateway went down for around 45mins perhaps? DSL Sync remains.

The time varies, its been as short as 10mins and as long as 3 hours, but every time its annoying especially with real time applications like gaming, voip etc.
Its happened maybe 6-8 times now?

Service status says issues in Riccarton to Greymouth (I'm in hamilton), however only once i've seen it on their service status.

Has anyone else had issues with their PDQ (in hamilton)?

Depending on how widespread the issues is, you may be able to contact them when it happens and raise it through the helpdesk but if they'll be able to do anything with the issues is another story.
