Probably a noob question but I'm thinking about getting the Kogan BOGOF deal (that uses the Vodafone network) but my reception is marginal where I live.
Before I sign up for the Kogan deal, I'm thinking about buying a cheap prepaid Vodafone SIM - if this works then Kogan should be good as well?

Buy a Kogan Mobile Prepay Starter Pack for $5 including shipping. Try it out, and if you like it, continue using it and port your number across.

Yes, thanks. I've already ordered one of those a few days ago but postal tracking is showing delivery is sometime in early September and the BOGOF deal expires end of August :"(

Going by my recent experience (I switched back to Kogan earlier this week), the SIMs arrived way quicker than the site indicated they would - looks like ordered on the 17th, shipped on the 18th, delivered on the 23rd. They were sent from Akld as well, not Aus.

@tims: Depending on how many a 'few' is in your case and where you live, I'd say there's a good chance you'll receive it before the deal expires (assuming the 'starter pack' isn't sent from Aus, but is the same deal as a code sent via email and a SIM in the mail?).

Thanks for your reply. Good news, I received my Kogan Starter Pack today but can't try it as yet as I haven't received the email with the mobile voucher code to activate it - I guess I'll get there in the end 😁.

I received codes within minutes of placing my orders a few months ago. See if you have an e-mail with the subject "Your Kogan Mobile voucher for order number ...". If not, I'd give them a call.
