Hey, i am on Telstra PDQ FS/FS connection but have been getting a very slow connection.

Before i switched to Telstra i was connected to Xtra Broadband FS/FS where is was getting 700-800kb/s Upload and 7-8mb/s download

Now that i am on Telstra i have been getting the same upload speeds but Slow as hell download speeds. less than 1.5mb/s to Auckland Servers.

I am actually very unhappy about my new connection as i cannot even play online games as i get 160+ Ping. On Xtra i was getting 20-40 Ping. I have contacted them to turn interleaving off and it has made no differance.

Is TC PDQ slow like this for anyone else?

Same here. Constant 500kb/s plus for all downloads, though i use a download manager to put it to 1.1MB/s

Depends if the slowness is related to throughput or connect rate.
I suggest you have a read of this guide. It should give you an idea how to proceed hopefully.
