wxc has just advised that my account was suspended for DL a movie that is copy righted. and if this happens again the account will be canceled.......boohoo
anyways what isp's are not doing this besides telecom. i want naked dsl

This has been discussed at length.  As far as I know WxC is the only ISP that acts on the notification from I think a US based watchdog, but I do not know much about it as I do not download copyrighted movies.  You should be able to find a post on this without too much trouble.

I think you'll find with the incoming Copyright (New Technologies) Amendment in Feb that more and more service providers will be taking action against their customers.

As for nDSL providers, I can only think of Slingshot

Won't matter what ISP you go with because from February next year every ISP will be acting on these letters because it's the law. If you download copyrighted material and get caught you will lose your internet connection. End of story.

yeah i thought it had been talked about. but couldn't find anything after a few minutes. wxc said that on the 1/11/08 a law was passed that made al isp's do this, what ever. i now that all isp's have been getting told about users doing this for a while. snap advised when i called that they now do as well
