As an avid user of Sky's Online service and a semi-regular user of MobileTV I'm struggling to combine the two.

One of my pet hates is that MobileTV is restricted to just a handful of streamed channels however I can access a myriad of channels (and ondemand content) via Sky's Online service.

When I try to access Sky's Online service via a browser on my mobile it tells me that I'm not based in New Zealand (much like if I was overseas trying to access the website or a NZ work address using a non-NZ proxy server).

Questions:

Has anyone else tried to access this service (download.skytv.co.nz) on a mobile successfully?

Is Vodafones mobile broadband server using a NZ proxy server or an overseas proxy server (hence the restriction)? 

It doesnt seem to be that VOD is restricting access but somehow Sky doesnt recognise me as being in NZ!
