This morning I have got two text messages from 5240 say your OTP number for porting number verification is but I haven’t done anything maybe wrong number should i ignore?

Never used booking. com, maybe someone missed a number or added one when setting up porting? haven’t received any more

Just got two more in the last 15 minutes just says your authentication code is, from the same 5240 number maybe mixup with phone number is there any way to block the 5240 number

As above, it sounds like someone was trying to port a number from one provider to another and obviously entered the wrong number (not assuming it was malicious). Simply ignore the request. And if you receive one of these and someone calls you asking for a number, ignore it too.
