So more or less a hostile take over? Vote to not renew with vodafone and then buy out the remaining shareholder...one has to wonder if it was worth more or less with vodafone brand...I would guestimate to say its woth less?

The press release doesn't make it obvious that Infratil was the instigator of the take over. Language like "Infratil said it had agreed to buy Brookfield's ownership stake, " sounds a bit like Brookfield wanted out. So far there's nothing from Brookfield spinning their point of view.
