I've just returned a phonecall to someone who rang my work-provided cellphone. They said during the call, "Did you listen to my voicemail?".

No - I didn't know I had one. YIKES!! I've got 6!!!

Why would I not be getting voicemail left notifications - earliest message was over a week old!

(And yes, this sounds like a silly question to me...)

I have now; the only thing there was a previously reported NZPost SMS Spam.

Naturally, now I've complained on an open forum, the VoiceMail SMS has just come through - "Call 707 to hear new voice messages. Last message left at...." - I wonder why I didn't get those earlier?

I've noticed this too. After a 2nd voice message was left, I got a text saying two were waiting for me. No alert about the 1st having been left, at the time, though.
