Hi all,

I was wondering does Contact NZ fibre support IPv6? I cant seem to find it. When I try to enable IPv6 on my new Asus router (WAN >Internet Connection> WAN Connection Type set [Automatic IP], please select IPv6 Connection type set [Passthrough]) It doesnt seem to show the IPv6 addresses in my devices. Any help much appreciated.

Contact NZ? Is that a Vodafone/One NZ brand?

I enabled IPv6 on my in-laws connection but have not received any address. I believe IPv6 isn't supported (they're using CGNAT also) but it would best to just get in contact with Contact.

We are with Contact in Auckland and I have ipv6 working. Using the supplied Netcomm router they supplied to us a few years go.

Might just be a isolated case. Their website has no mention of it so it might not be supported.

Had I known how to use ipv6 would of enabled it sooner as I was using tailscale and performance is slow without direct link.

@ackley did you post your reply from home? Because the IPv6 I see is not Contact or Devoli.

I managed to enable IPv6 just now; this forum post made me wonder if I could. I'm using a NetComm router too, so can't share settings, but the only things I needed to change from defaults were to use IPoE and make sure that VLAN 10 selected.
