I'm using Mobile TV on a parallel imported E51, which seems to actually work!! (yay)

It will open the clip up in Real (c--p) Player, and seems to work OK mostly, however I seem to get a bit of buffering.  What do the NZ purchased handsets use to play Mobile TV?

Does it do this on local handsets too? I think my 3G coverage out here is OK, I get full bars by the looks. 

However I have noticed in the top right, it keeps flicking between 3.5G, 3G and something else, not sure why.

The 3.5G / 3G is just the phone flicking between 3G and HSDPA. When not needed HSDPA recources are not used the phone idles in 3G mode. Then it kinda switches to turbo mode (HSDPA) as necessary.

thanks, but even with perfect reception (sitting right below a tower in Napier), i still got buffering.

what software does Vodafone use on their own mobiles?  Realplayer?
