The only info I have is http://www.xnet.co.nz/cgi-bin/status.cgi?id=448

They have not closed this so I assume they are still having issues with email esp since they did some more work last night http://www.xnet.co.nz/cgi-bin/status.cgi?id=454

how does it take them to fix email by their own admission they have had issues since 27/3 !

The open ticket states they did work to prevent down time, and you should see only some 30 seconds delays.  They also state furter work scheduled for the following week to permanently fix the issue.  Seems like they are on top of it.

definately still issues new ticket as follows

http://www.xnet.co.nz/cgi-bin/status.cgi?id=454

"All mail systems will be unavailable during the specified period while they are down for maintenance. They have been very naughty servers.

The outage will result in a total mail outage (ie sending and receiving), affecting the following systems: IMAP, POP3, SMTP"

Corporate/Enterprise email servers are more reliable than WxCs. TCNZ or Orcon are looking more attractive each day...

That ticket is for the scheduled down time from midnight tonight to 5:00 tomorrow morning.  It is not the same as the open unscheduled ticket that there will be intermittent brief delays (not outages).
