Hi,

I purchased a Vodem (Huawei E220 HSDPA) off trade me a couple of months back. All working good and loving the new data plans. However I'm heading to the UK next month and wondered if the device is unlocked and usable on one of the other UK networks which is not Vodafone - O2. I know Vodafone don't lock phones so I'm assuming it's the same with it's data devices?  Could I just pop a O2 data sim card in once I arrive and off I go? or does it need to be unlocked / buy an 02 specific usb data stick?

Thanks

Knoydart

Virgin had an ok deal on pre pay data. $15 = 500mb(30 day expiry),$30 = 1GB(30day),$50 = 3GB (60 day).

3 had $49 = 4GB (30 day exp) good in big cities

DODO had $40 for 3 GB or 70 hours use (you choose the option)60 day exp
